The monument from which this came originally situated near the Salihiya mdrassa..has now disappeared.. the suspended lamp bears an appropriate Qur'anic phrase..
(God is the light of the heavens and the earth).
أبجورة مستوحاه من أثر من الرخام بمدرسة الصالحية من العصر المملوكي و قد أختفي الآن . الارتفاع ٦٠سم و العرض ٣٥سم .
محفور علي الوحدة الآية الكريمة ( الله نور السماوات و الأرض).

From mosque of Qaytbay, Manshiya Alexandria.. Ayyubid first half of 13th century.
إبريق للماء ٤٠×٤٠سم
مسجد قيتباى بالمنشية ( الأسكندرية) العصر الأيوبي النصف الأول من القرن الثالث عشر .
أستوحيت فكرة حوض الزرع من هذا الأبريق لسقيا الماء.
